Denver 5 Masonic Scholarships

Education has always been one of the cornerstones of freemasonry. We believe that the foundation of a free society starts with good education. In order to help to contribute to this, Denver lodge No.5 offers 5 scholarships every to deserving students who will be attending public higher education. This is in addition to the scholarships offered by the Grand Lodge of Colorado. All students who want to apply for a Denver No. 5 scholarship must first have a sponsor from the lodge. All members of the lodge are elligible as sponsors. The students themselves are not required to have any masonic affiliation. Deadlines for the applications change somewhat every year but are usually in mid-April. All 2010 scholarships have already been awarded. The application deadline for 2011 scholarships is May 2, 2011. All scholarships will be awarded on May 19th, 2011.
