My brothers,
As we close out March, I am inspired by the variety of work our members and brothers are achieving in support of the fraternity. Our SD Adrian arranged a social visit with a Masonic speaker, a recent Masonica planning call had 9 attendees, and as I write this, a handful of us visited Mt. Evans Lodge #7 PHA in Aurora just a couple days ago. The second education lecture at ME7 was on the symbolism of bees in Masonry, and I am proud of the cooperative hive we are building at Denver Lodge #5 and across the state.
OUR COMMUNITY IN MASONRY
The results of that Masonica planning call formalized a few important decisions, including moving the venue to the Welton St. building, and dropping the Germania #46 degree team due to the price of bringing up so many brothers from Louisiana. Even as those doors closed, others opened, and we are working to add the Scottish Rite 4th degree to the schedule, as well as adding several great speakers from Prince Hall lodges who are polishing their lectures as we speak.
The visit to ME7 was a great opportunity to fellowship with our brothers, and I personally got a lot out of the two educational presentations they put on, and the care they show for the fraternity. As a bonus, the police only had to be called once, so I’ll call that a win.

Please remember to check in individually with our brothers, both absent and present. A thoughtful kind word can go a long way when life happens and interrupts a brother’s plans.
