2017 Scholarship Applications

We are happy to announce that the 2017 scholarship applications are available to students now!

Denver Lodge No. 5 awards scholarships annually in memory of the late W.B. Arvin V. Lankenau, Past Master. An eligible applicant is anyone wishing to attend a College or Trade School within the State of Colorado and sponsored by a Master Mason who is a member in good standing of Denver Lodge No.5, A.F. & A.M.

Recipients will be selected by the Denver Lodge No. 5 Scholarship and Education Committee from all eligible applicants. Only one scholarship can be awarded per applicant. Each Master Mason who is a member in good standing of Denver Lodge No. 5 may sponsor one applicant.

Scholarship recipients will receive written notification of awards by April 20th, 2017. Scholarships will be awarded at a Special Dinner to be held on May 18, 2017 at the Masonic Temple Building, 1614 Welton Street, Denver, Colorado.

Application deadline is April 20th, 2017.

Once you have completed the application, please return it to Denver Lodge No. 5 on or before April 7th, 2017.

CALENDAR

Our Stated Communications are held the first and third Thursdays of each month and typically dinner will be served at 6:30pm with lodge follwoing at 7:30pm unless otherwise noted below.

POSTING: Every Wednesday Night 6:30 pm to 8:30pm

STATED COMMUNICATION: Thursday January 19th. Dinner 6:30pm • Lodge opens at 7:30pm on the F.C.° At this stated meeting, we will be passing two Brothers.

January 12th 2017 – Cigar Night 6:30pm Churchill’s in the Brown Palace. Masons only. Space is limited. If interested, contact Pablo Colomban W.M.  for more details.

January 14th 2017 – Family Bowling Day 2-4pm at the Denver Athletic Club. Contact Curt Robinson J.W., for more details.

January 21th 2017 – Robert Burns Dinner We have reserved a couple tables for Denver No.5 members only. First come first serve. If Interested, contact Pablo Colomban W.M. or W.B. Tom Shotts, P.M. for more details.

January 28th 2017 – DU Hockey Game We have reserved some seats for the D.U. Hockey game at 7pm. Contact Curt Robinson J.W., for more details.
