My brothers,
Please note that a lot of our previously-announced plans for February have changed. The current February schedule is included in this message.
As I write this, the Wardens and I are at the Grand Lodge Annual Communication in Grand Junction, where I just received PM Stephen’s plaque for earning Honor Lodge for 2025. Thank you, PM Stephen, for upholding Denver Lodge #5’s traditions and earning this award for us again.
In my January trestleboard, I described how we will be executing on a theme of “Our Community in Masonry” this year, and I appreciate how we have all been engaging in that theme. You have given of your time, both in lodge meetings and social events, and you have given of your talents in helping us plan and pull off several educational, social, and ritual sessions. Thank you all for the work you have done to get this year started off on the right foot.
Additionally, my personal appreciation goes out to those brave few who didn’t let the 156 stairs up to Br. Drew Turner’s rooftop stop them from attending the D5 social on 9 January. Even though the elevator was broken that evening, it was a great opportunity to share fellowship, swap stories, and learn how to play bumper pool.
