With summer in full swing, I hope that we are all taking time to relax and enjoy some time with friends and family ahead of the busy fall season we have on the horizon. Thank you all who made our June events such a success, and I look forward to seeing you at the others we have coming up throughout the rest of the summer.

8 July: Social: Visit to Central City #6
- Central #6 is the oldest continuously-used Masonic temple in Colorado, and one of our beautiful mountain lodges.
- LOCATION: Dinner at the lodge building (111 Eureka St. Central City) at 5:30 PM, with meeting to follow at 7:00.
- ATTENDANCE: EA and above
- ATTIRE: “Mountain Casual” jeans and a polo will be fine.

11 July: Social: Breast Cancer Awareness Event hosted by Mt. Evans #7, PHA
We get to continue socializing and sharing brotherly love with our Prince Hall brethren who host a breast cancer awareness event each year. Mammogram vans will be onsite, please call 303-602-6115 to schedule an appointment regardless of whether you have insurance or not.

12 July: Pancake Breakfast at Nevada #4
Come join your brothers from across the state in enjoying a pancake breakfast at one of our historic ghost town lodges.

1 August: Grand Lodge Budget Sessions
As voting members, only the principal officers are required to attend. All others are optional. There will be a vote on whether to pass a budget that leaves the GL in Colorado Springs or move it to Denver. If you would like to share your opinion with one of the voting members, please contact them directly

5 August: Social: Visit to Lumen Artis #199
Lumen Artis is one of the newer and younger lodges in Colorado, and was established to renew an interest in providing Masonic education to the state. In this visit, our own SS Max will be providing education on “The Grand Orient-ation of American Freemasonry.”

8 August: Ghost Town Raising #2
Nevada Lodge #4 is hosting a second Ghost Town Raising this summer and Br. Lawrence is scheduled to receive his MM degree this day.
- LOCATION: Time TBD at Nevada Lodge #4 (1043 Nevadaville Rd. Central City)
- ATTENDANCE: MM (plus MM candidates)

3 September: Stated Communication (EARLY OPENING)
As we come back to light, we are hosting a special presentation of the blue lodge funeral service and the Rose Croix funeral service after dinner in memory of our dearly departed Charles Curtis Robinson, II.
- LOCATION: Early opening at 5:30 PM at the Welton St. building, followed by dinner at 6:30, and an open meeting at 7:30 for the two funeral services.
- ATTENDANCE: EA and above for the early opening at 5:30 PM, open to the public for the funeral services at 7:30 PM.
- ATTIRE: Business
- RSVP: JW Conner. This is going to be a well-attended event, so please make sure to RSVP with JW Conner to ensure you have a plate for dinner.
17 September: Stated Communication
Bro. Canfield is returning to give his FC proficiency and potentially receive his MM degree.
- LOCATION: 6:30 PM dinner, 7:30 PM meeting at the Welton St. building.
- ATTENDANCE: FC and above for the proficiency, MM if we proceed to degree work.
